Safari Accommodation
Whilst the true thrill and purpose of a safari is to see all the amazing animals, people are often surprised to find that the lodges and camps on safari also become a highlight of their trip. Safari tents will make you rethink your notion of what a tent is or can be. Luxurious, comfortable, lovely beds, fabulous bathrooms often with outdoor showers meaning you can enjoy a shower with a hippo or elephant as your view.
Camp fires and three course meals whilst you are immersed in the bush with the sounds and sights of nature all around.
And then there’s the food. Delicious, plentiful, and served throughout the day. On safari, the only creatures worrying about their next meal are out on the plains.
And that’s before we mention the amazing service from friendly and informative staff, who love nothing better than making your trip truly special.
We work with various lodges and partners in Africa ensuring that much like Goldilocks, we have tasted the porridge and slept in the beds to ensure that we choose the camps which are ‘just right’ for you.
And on most safari trips, you will not only be in safari accommodation, as you will be off doing other activities to get to know the countries better or for some simple relaxation. You could find yourself on vineyards, at the beach, along the Garden Route or in Cape Town itself, staying on plantations and everything in between. Each trip is tailored to you and your specific wants and needs from the experience.
And on some of your you might find yourself sleeping out, underneath the stars in specially designed accommodaion to make your stay just that little bit extra special. Or you could find yourself having breakfast with elephants or cheetahs, either whilst out on your safari or as they come to the various watering holes at many camps.
We understand that where you sleep is a vital part of any trip, so we pay particular care and attention to ensuring you end up in memorable places.
The images on this page are from the various lodges, hotels and camps that we work with across our safari destinations (and beyond) and give you a taste of what you can expect on one of our trips.
